Each individual member may elect to become a member of one of four sections which are created to conduct activities of particular interest to the member.

The sections are:

The art museum section

The children's museum section

The history museum section

The science museum section

The sections shall elect officers at the annual meeting and may adopt operating procedures (subject to review and ratification by the Board), conduct section activities and propose resolutions for consideration of the membership or the Board. The chair of each section shall be a member of the Board of Directors if qualified by membership.
