Osceola Remembered 1/1/08 - 1/31/09
A look into the life and legacy of the Seminole warrior Osceola, both the historical man and the larger than life hero. Portions of the exhibit will be devoted to the outside perception concerning Osceola, the pop culture that surrounded him after his death, and the legacy he left behind. There will featured objects on loan from the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian as well as from the Museum's permanent collection.

Cattle Keepers: The Heritage of Seminole Cattle Ranching 9/25/08 - 9/21/09
Cattle Keepers: The Heritage of Seminole Cattle Ranching examines the history of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s cattle industry. The Seminole cattle industry has its roots in the beginning of the 16th century when the Spanish brought cattle to Florida and continues on today as one of the leading cattle processors in the state of Florida. Come examine this storied history which is not only part of Seminole history but of the entire state of Florida.
